Inclusion policy

GRD strives to create a welcoming and supportive environment for every member of the league and our wider GRD family.

We aim to treat everyone fairly within the context of their activity, regardless of gender, ethnicity, sexual orientation, religion, political belief or economic status and are committed to the principles of equality.

We take seriously any concerns raised of racism, xenophobia, sexism and any other form of discrimination. Making verbal, written or visual statements which can be perceived as being of an inflammatory or offensive nature is not tolerated in accordance with our internal policies and procedures.

The well-being of our members and visitors is a priority for us, therefore we endeavour to make our events a safe space for all.

Scotland’s Mental Health Charter for Physical Activity and Sport

We have signed Scotland’s Mental Health Charter for Physical Activity and Sport. The purpose of the Charter is to use the collective power of physical activity and sport to create positive lasting change in mental health and wellbeing.

We are committed to ensuring that there is no barrier to engaging, participating and achieving in roller derby.
