We have several training sessions throughout the week:

New skater training (Glasgow Roller Recruits)

  • Thursdays from 6-8pm at the Park Villa Community Sports Hub, 337 Langlands Rd, Glasgow G51 4AW

League training

  • Wednesdays from 7-9pm at Park Villa Community Sports Hub, 337 Langlands Rd, Glasgow G51 4AW (intermediate/league skater training)

  • Thursdays from 8-10pm at the Park Villa Community Sports Hub, 337 Langlands Rd, Glasgow G51 4AW (charter training)

  • Sundays from 3:45-5:45pm at the Arc Recreation Centre, Glasgow Caledonian University, Cowcaddens Road, Glasgow G4 0BA (scrimmage)

League dues

We operate a pay-what-you-can model for our dues, from £10-£40 per month. Here is our guidance:

£10

  • I frequently stress about meeting my basic needs and don't always achieve them

  • I have debt and it sometimes prohibits me from meeting my basic needs

  • I rent lower end properties or have unstable housing

  • I sometimes can't afford public or private transport/I am not always able to afford petrol

  • I am unemployed or underemployed

  • I qualify for government and/or voluntary assistance, such as food banks/benefits 

  • I have no access to savings, I have no/very limited expendable incomes 

  • I rarely buy new items as I am unable to afford them

  • I cannot afford a holiday or do not have the ability to take time off without financial burden

£30

  • I may stress about meeting my basic needs but still regularly achieve them

  • I may have some debt but it does not prohibit my attainment of basic needs

  • I can afford public transport/often private transport/I can afford petrol

  • I am employed. I have access to health care

  • I may have access to some financial savings

  • I have some expandable income

  • I am able to buy some new items and buy others second hand

  • I can take a holiday annually or every few years without financial burden

£40

  • I am comfortably able to meet all of my basic needs

  • I may have some debt but it does not prohibit my attainment of basic needs

  • I own my own home or property or I rent a high-end property

  • I can afford public and private transport/I can afford petrol

  • I have regular access to healthcare

  • I have access to financial savings

  • I have an expendable income

  • I can always buy new and second hand items where needed

  • I can afford an annual holiday or to take time off
